WARRANTY
Office Automation, Inc. warrants that under normal operating conditions that product hardware and other expendables will be free from defects and workmanship for a period of ONE YEAR on Inter-Tel products including phone systems and voice mail systems. The warranty period begins on the date of original purchase.
This warranty does not apply if, in the sole judgment of OAI, the phone system, voice mail system or any parts or components have been improperly installed or used in combination with hardware not compatible with the product or parts that have been improperly handled, misused, abused, altered, tampered with, accidentally damaged, or damaged or failed to function as result of causes beyond OAI?s control, including acts of God such as fire, flood, water or lightning or other incidence of excessive or insufficient voltage or failure to follow instructions.
Repair or alteration of the phone system or voice mail system by others, tampering or removal of any warranty identification sticker(s) will void this warranty. This warranty does not cover costs associated with installation, removal or reinstallation of the product.
Advance Replacement
Office Automation Inc. (OAI) will advance replace defective equipment for up to 1 year from of the date of shipment. OAI will issue an advance replacement order and form to the customer. A copy of this form will be sent with the advance replacement and a copy of this form must be returned with the defective item in order to avoid being charged for the product. Advance replacements must be returned to OAI immediately after the equipment has been installed. If the item is not returned within 15 days of the replacement order date, the order will be invoiced and you will be charged for the product.
OAI will ship the warranty advance replacement by the same way of the original Invoice. If customer wants it shipped any other way, the customer must pay all shipping charges.
If, however, the item is found not to be under a valid OAI warranty (due to lightning, abuse, water damage, operator error, etc.), the customer will be notified and charged for the item.
